• Lorraine has completed the CII Certificate / LLMIT (Lloyds & London Market Test) and is currently studying towards the ACII qualification.
• Member of the CII, ILU and the CII Claims Faculty.
• Was responsible for handling WTC Claims (All classes) on a $100-150m portfolio of losses in a lead and follow capacity, this included the setting of IBNR’s in order to determine ultimate exposure.
• Nearly 20 years experience in dealing with most classes of business

Relevant Experience/Expertise

• Experience handling Professional Lines claims, with a particular emphasis on Lawyers E&O and Medical Malpractice claims emanating from North America and Europe, from first advice to settlement
• Fully conversant with compliance to FSA / SOX controls and was heavily involved in setting-up a claims Internal Audit process for a large Insurance run-off.
• Over 15 years experience of CLASS and has more recently handled claims through ECF.
• Experience in instructing counsel, giving deposition and attending arbitration
