of specific schemes or whole business portfolios.
Our bespoke
claims system is statistically driven to
ensure management receive whatever data they
may need as often as required.
In 2003, DCS assisted Abacus Syndicate
2525 with the run-off administration of their
professional indemnity business (2000-02).
Following an initial review of
the existing claims data as well as the business
generally, DCS put forward a business plan with
pro-active claims administration at the forefront,
the intention being to effect resolution of
all outstanding claims in the shortest possible
timeframe.
The costing was agreed in conjunction
with the Syndicate’s needs and was ultimately
proportioned over a 4-year period payable quarterly
in arrears.
In less than 2 years, Abacus
have seen their outstanding claim numbers drop
by over 75%
